4. Mobile Information Use No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. Security We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data.
6. Payments All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information.

Cancellation, Refund and Deposit Policies
Our cancellation policy is designed to respect the time of our stylists and other clients:
Cancellations more than 7 days before appointment: Full refund
Cancellations 3-7 days before appointment: 50% refund
Cancellations less than 3 days before appointment: No refund
Please note: If you dispute a charge after violating our cancellation policy, an additional fee may be applied to your account.
Deposit System
To secure your appointment, we require the following deposits:
Services $100+: 100% upfront payment required
All other services: 50% deposit required
Deposits are non-refundable for last-minute cancellations and secure your specific time slot with our stylists.
First-Time Clients:
No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in the inability to book future appointments.
For styling services (excluding clipper cuts), a consultation is required before booking. This includes braids, locs, blowouts, and color services.
Client Communication Preferences
At Vanessa Mitchell Hair and Style, we want to communicate with you in the way that suits you best. Please let us know your preferences:
Text messages for quick updates and reminders
Emails for detailed information and receipts
Both text and email
You can update your communication preferences at any time through your client portal or by contacting our front desk.
Refund Policy
We strive to deliver an excellent salon experience. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please notify us within 48 hours of your appointment. Our refund policy is as follows:
Service Refunds: Refunds are issued only if the service was not rendered or if there was a technical error during service. Dissatisfaction with a completed service may be resolved with complimentary adjustments where applicable, not a full refund.
Product Refunds: Products purchased at the salon may be returned unopened within 7 days for a full refund. Opened or used products cannot be returned unless defective.
No Refunds on Deposits: Deposits made to secure appointments are non-refundable, especially in cases of cancellations made less than 3 days prior.
Processing of Refunds: Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
